I believe the problem is that the R2882 NAS is hard-configured to listen for samba requests only on port 139 and the current modifications of the wii are configured to only search for samba connections on. I upgraded the firmware of my R2882 chipset NAS to BASIC48B1, LOADER 69, but like you I am still having problems communicating with the Wii. The wrong drivers or possibly a landisk nas-basic48 bootloader 069. Great software! Use it for landisk nas-basic48 bootloader 0.69 updates. Make sure only to use the corresponding firmware, depending on the hardware you are using! WARNING: NEVER TURN OFF YOUR UNIT DURING THE FIRMWARE UPDATE PROCEDURE. For this update, both firmware and loader have to be updated. Unfortunately had problems accessing the original folders on my nas, and had to format the hdd via the web setup page, and then start afresh. Finally settled on the V-Gear nas basic 47-B1 loader 69 firmware.
